Residency Overview
In each Trickster Residency we create an original 90-minute theatre performance for up to 500 actors. The show is based on a theme chosen by the school and developed with the assistance of Trickster.
From K-3 to K-12, from 50 students to 500, we've done it all. No matter what type of school you have, we can help you create a show that will astound you.
Recent themes have included: -The United Nations Charter of Childrens' Rights - The History of the Cowboy - Bullying - The Wild World of Science - It's all about Character
A Trickster show is a wonderful visual experience. With floor to ceiling curtains, and full lighting and sound, your show is going to be stunning. Check out these pictures and videos! from previous residencies.
Do you want to know what teachers from over 350 schools thought about their residency? Check out the reviews and find out why this program is so popular.
It's affordable too! In most schools the cost of this week-long program is less than the cost of a one-day field trip per student. (after the AFA grant - Up to $10,000 per school available each year - April 1 application deadline)
If you would like to receive an info kit, with a DVD that shows the residency process, styles, and show clips, please contact us (info below). We can also come out and make a presentation to your staff (Calgary Area only).
Our season sells out each year, so give us a call and get in next year's schedule. You'll be amazed at what your school creates!
We look forward to bringing your dreams to the stage!
