Trickster Theatre Summer Camps
Trickster Theatre proudly presents our second annual summer arts camp!
Like the school residency program, the summer camp will focus on the development of a physical theatre piece. Each group will be paired with an experienced Trickster to create two plays; the first being a standard Trickster piece and the second a special effects piece with either black light or shadow. The shadow style is the same techinique we used last year for our show with the Dalai Lama.
Unlike the school residency program each group will be attending drama workshops in addition to creating their two pieces. Workshops will explore a multitude of theatrical skills like vocal training, storytelling, character development, music and improvisation.
In addition to the drama workshops, campers will enjoy a new special activity every day including drama Olympics, capture the flag, prop building and even swimming!
After registration and before camp starts the camp director will be in touch to confirm food specific choices.Please note: as this is a shared facility we cannot guarantee a nut-free environment.
The Details
Where: The camp is located on beautiful Arbour Lake in Calgary's northwest.
When: Camps run Monday to Friday weekly from July 30 through August 10, 2012. Daily hours are : 9 AM to 4 PM.
Who can attend: There will be two age groups: 7 – 9 years and 10 – 13 years.
Camp size: Attendance is limited to 24 participants per week.

Payment must be received in full to guarantee registration.

Once you have registered a participant and paid the tuition fee you will be added to our Summer Camp participants list. Final confirmation and Camp Information will be emailed to you 3 weeks ahead of the start of your chosen camp session.
